Encore! Encore! MSC Cruises Adds Second Big Band Theme Cruise to Winter Caribbean Sailings

Special Oceanview Rates Begin at $879 - and Kids Sail Free

FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla., MAY 14 -- Because interest in its
previously announced Big Band theme cruise has been so high, MSC Cruises is
bringing the theme cruise back for an encore with special oceanview
stateroom rates.

The line will host a second Big Band theme cruise on MSC Lirica's
10-night Caribbean featuring Panama roundtrip sailing from Fort Lauderdale
on Feb. 22, 2009. The first Big Band cruise is scheduled for MSC Lirica's
10-night Dec. 3, 2008 Deep Caribbean itinerary.

Both sailings will feature the 15-piece Les DeMerle Big Band, with
vocalist Bonnie Eisele. Drummer Les DeMerle has toured and recorded with
the Harry James Big Band and Wayne Newton and has accompanied many top
singers.

The Les DeMerle Big Band is sure to have toes tapping, bodies swaying
and guests singing along to the sounds of Ellington, Basie, James and
Miller, plus Broadway hits, rock classics, hot Latin grooves and
show-stoppers from the '40s through today. The band will also present a
jazz concert and lecture on the Big Band Era.

The Dec. 3 sailing visits San Juan, Puerto Rico; Philipsburg, St.
Maarten; Port Castries, St. Lucia; St. John's, Antigua; Tortola, British
Virgin Islands; and Cayo Levantado, Dominican Republic. Rates begin at $699
per person; special oceanview rates begin at $879 per person.

The Feb. 22 itinerary calls at Costa Maya, Mexico; Puerto Limon, Costa
Rico; Cristobal, Panama; Cartagena, Colombia; and Cayo Levantado, Dominican
Republic. Rates begin at $899 per person; special oceanview rates begin at
$1,079 per person.

Both itineraries feature a call at Cayo Levantado, the line's private
paradise experience. There, guests have the option to explore pristine
beaches, enjoy turquoise waters and natural rainforest or view humpback
whales as they arrive in the warmer Caribbean waters to mate and enjoy
their newborns.

On all MSC Cruises' sailings, kids 17 or younger sail free when sharing
a stateroom with two full-fare-paying adults. All prices are cruise only,
per person, double occupancy. Government fees and taxes for all guests are
additional, as well as a fuel surcharge for the first and second guests in
a stateroom. Prices are subject to availability; certain restrictions
apply.
